Now that the horse has left the barn, it will be interesting to see what

(if anything) the Alliance can do to try to get the horse back into its stall. It is even possible the Alliance would like to try to get back to NCAA's core values (the ones it was originally founded on) while adapting to a world that may include NIL contracts for student-athletes. At least it isn't clear at this point whether 1 of the Alliance's goals is to eliminate NIL contracts all together or allow them to have a place in the student-athlete model, but with a lot more guidelines or regulations to limit their power of influence.
